The decision comes one day after another court condemned Khan for leaking state secrets and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 14 years in prison in a case for the illegal sale of state gifts. On Wednesday, penalty of an Anti -Corruption Court in capital Islamabad came day after explaining secrets of Khan's state secrets and a 10 -year prison sentence in another case week before national elections. It was not immediately clear whether Khan's sentences would work in succession or simultaneously. Khan was also sentenced to three years of imprisonment in August, and was taken by another court for selling more than 140 million RUPI gifts and received the 2018 Premiership. The sentence was then suspended, but Khan remained behind the railings in connection with other cases. He said that he had legally purchased the spouses. Bushra Bibi was detained during the hearing. The court also disqualified Khan for years of having any public duty before the Parliamentary elections on February 8th.
