Lorenza gets surprised in her residence by Prudencia’s hired henchwoman. She forces Lorenza to write a suicide note, then puts her to sleep with chloroform after it is written. Her daughter Felicia finds her the next morning. Felicia was sleeping in the bedroom with an eye mask and earplugs in, she has no knowledge of what happened.
