Labour Unions are advocating for the quick passing of the law that will allow workers to access their pension at the age of 45. The Labour Unions under the Central Organisation of Free Trade Unions in Uganda also want the labour bills and amendments before parliament passed quickly so that workers can be empowered against exploitation.
