Following that of the Visitation and the birth of John the Baptist, this shrine stands at the place where the Forerunner found refuge with his family, saving himself from the massacre of the Innocents. It includes the Shrine, the Grotto, the fountain and Elizabeth's Tomb.

In the midst of this rich landscape, Br. Dobromir Jazstal, Vicar of the Custody of the Holy Land, presided over the prayer. A large number of participants crowded the small chapel and the space in front of it.
