Musical Theater Camp at Belvoir. Join us for our Summer Theater Camp for Girls. Theater majors can choose daily classes in acting, Shakespeare, and musical theater plus electives in playwriting, improvisation, costuming, technical theater, and more. The younger campers enjoy creative dramatics with classes meeting three times a week or daily. Major actresses generally choose several daily classes augmented by choices from the dance department as well as private voice lessons – all to enhance their theater interest. The theater program at Belvoir provides a complete training experience for every actress.

The more experienced acting students enjoy intensive classes learning character development, acting techniques and play analysis. These students’ study and perform important theatrical material. All campers enjoy performing for the camp community at the proscenium stage, two outdoor platform stages, and two fully equipped air-conditioned theaters. Every actress at Belvoir benefits from performance experiences with lights, costumes, and an appreciative, enthusiastic audience.
