Kingston has a multipurpose tool for smartphones that incorporates a backup battery, SD Card and USB storage, a media streamer, card reader, and a small router into a paperback-sized device.
The 4640 mAH battery can do about a charge and a half to two charges on a standard mobile phone. It also powers the device's built in wifi server which allows mobile devices and PCs to access the SD card and USB slots on the device.
It can also augment a smartphone or tablet's storage, allowing files to be copied back and forth to the Mobile Companion. Additionally files can also be copied from the SD card to a USB stick and vice versa.
I really like its versatility. I also like that PCs can get access to the files through their native file systems as the Mobile Companion supports standard file sharing.
