{Capturing for posterity} Holbrook is a lovely country town on the Hume Highway between Sydney (about 500km) and Melbourne (about 400km).

It's the home to the decommissioned Aussie submarine HMAS Otway so we usually pop in when on roadtrips with the kids to have a look.
