Hi all. So this is a short on the ongoing saga of rebuilding the stuck and actually broken off running board on the wife's side of my Navigator. It had been sticking for some years, I had been doing the spray and pray thing to get it to work, but it had finally gotten beyond all of that.

The final straw came when I was driving through a parking lot one day, went over a "speed bump" crashed the step down on the top of the bump and broke it off.

Anyway, with all that said, I decided that it was time to really do something about this. Since I broke off both brackets, I just bought a whole new motor bracket set. But I am running an experiment on the rear, installing grease fittings to see if I can protect the bearings better. It is after all better to push the junk out than try and blow it through.
