Jeff Nevin speaks about mariachi education programs in San Diego and the Symphonic Mariachi Champaña Nevin and Mónica Abrego concert "Las Posadas — A Traditional Mexican Christmas Eve Celebration" to be held at the Balboa Theatre on Dec. 20. Proceeds benefit the Mariachi Scholarship Foundation. The performance includes traditional Mexican carols and familiar American holiday classics and can be enjoyed by the entire family.
