When attempting to play the multiplayer of a Valve game such as Counter Strike, you may encounter this error message as your steam account has been flagged by VAC. Worry not! Steps To Fix Matchmaking Failed: VAC was unable to verify your game session
1. Close or minimise the game window on the Valve game you’re currently receiving this error message for
2. Open up your Steam client
3. If your game is running, click the Stop button in the Steam client and then click Confirm
4. Find your game in your Steam Library and right click on it
5. Click Properties
6. Click Local Files
7. Click Verify integrity of game files...
8. Close the Local Files window
9. Click Steam at the top left hand corner of your Steam client
10. Click Exit
11. Reopen your Steam client
12. Click on the game in your Steam Library
13. Click PLAY
14. Once your game loads up, you should have no trouble playing multiplayer.
