In this video I replace the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) of the radio control SR65 Vector speedboat.
This shows how I did it. Please feel free to add comments or suggestions as I was learning as I did it. Once I replaced the ESC, the transmitter (power first, then switch on transmitter) still would not connect (bind) as the ESC wanted it to do it another way (transmitter on first, then plug in power). In the end after trying various options at Pegasus Models, I opted to buy a better controller and that replaced the receiver too, and it all then connected straight away. They did this for me in the shop. Both the ESC and transmitter wanted Transmitter on first, and then everything was happy. It does show that not all electronic items are compatible. Still I now have a spare transmitter and receiver, the original Vector ones.
