Ridge is in a funk as he sits alone in front of an easel waiting for inspiration. He’s remembering with sorrow the bittersweet glory days of Forrester with Brooke when she arrives at his door. Brooke knows Ridge is probably still furious but she has always valued his friendship and she wants it back. Ridge and Brooke agree they’ve shared some really good times together. When Brooke sees Ridge’s inferior sketch, he explains he needs another operation and they don’t know if he’ll be able to design again. Brooke shares in Ridge’s sorrow. Deacon is worried Bridget will embarrass herself. Bridget agrees to a runway test to prove she can hack it as lead model. Bridget emerges looking very raw and sexy. She wows the group, but Deacon stands off to the side not happy with the way Whip is playing Bridget.
