This Panna Cotta recipe is made with agar-agar, a gelatin substitute derived from red algae.
Panna cotta is traditionally made with gelatin (a translucent, colorless, flavorless food ingredient, derived from collagen taken from animal body parts) but this gelatin-free version makes the dessert vegetarian and perfect for outdoor party as it is stable at room temperature.
It looks and tastes wonderful, easy to make and can be prepared in advance.
Ingredients:
1000 ml whipping cream
2 cups fresh milk
1 cup sour cream
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp agar-agar flakes
1 tsp vanilla extract
Strawberry Toppings:
10-11 pcs strawberry
2 tbsp granulated sugar
