The Parthasarathy temple is in the heart of Chennai, in Thiruvallikeni or Triplicane. It is the 60th divyadesam. Lord Krishna is worshipped in the name 'Parthasarathy' in this temple, which means in Sanskrit, 'charioteer of Arjuna'
Among the 12 alwars three of them namely Peyalwar, Thirumazhisai alwar and Thirumangaialwar have sung on the different forms of God in this temple.
This is the only Vishnu temple where Perumal appears with a moustache of a Sarathi.
Sri Neervannaperumal Temple, Thiruneermalai is 61st Divyadesam temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his various Avatars, found in Chennai near Pallavaram.There are actually two temples for Perumal that form this Divyadesam – Neervanna Perumal temple at the bottom of the hill and Sri Ranganathar temple at the top of the hill. The Perumal shows his 4 sevas in this temple they are – Neer Vanna Perumal standing posture, Narasimha sitting posture, Ranganatha reclining posture and Ulagalanda Perumal in walking posture.
