Charging in Public with an Electric car or Plug-in Hybrid can be a tad clunky in the UK. The reason...multiple chargepoint providers use many apps for public charging.

So Mercedes-Benz have designed a service that works with the major chargepoint providers in the UK and the rest of Europe. With over 275,000 chargepoints in one provider, this will significantly reduce the numbers of apps needed to charge your All-Electric Car or Plug-in Hybrid.

Mercedes me Charge uses the existing Mercedes me app, one payment method & one itemised bill every month. It works with MBUX natively so once activated, you can initiate a charge from the multimedia system itself as demonstrated in the video, the Mercedes me App or even the Mercedes me Charge card.

Please note Mercedes me Charge is not a free Mercedes me service and is billed annually however on some selected models, this is included free of charge for a set time. Please check on the Mercedes me Store or with your local Mercedes-Benz if you're not sure and as always this will vary from country to country.
