Jennifer Morris, President, Conservation International, spoke at the Opening Session of the Arctic Circle China Forum in Shanghai. During her speech she emphasised the urgent need to react to the "collective climate countdown clock" that is climate change. The Arctic, being one of the most fragile ecosystems on the planet, is no exception to the threat that climate change signifies as it is a "visual, recognizable casualty of warming temperatures" according to Jennifer Morris.
