It's Monday the 2nd and were off to Giffnock trainstation with the 40Ft trailer,im not 100% sure if im gonna fit as its a very small station but after some consultation with the lads on site i manage to get spun around and reversed onsite,where a hilarious tip ensues due to not being able to reach everything with the telehandler!After this were off to Malcolm's yard in South St,Clydebank where the gateman tried to mock my intelligence over how a turnstile works!A quick tip is had and we can finally head off to Perth where im sent on a run around to get on site,this tip doesnt go so quick as the machine is pre-occupied with another truck,eventually he makes his way round to me and after a bit more faffing around i can finally leave....via a spinny in a carpark,i have to leave the carpark from the wrong side of the road otherwise ill wipe out a post,but lady luck is with us and i get a green light as i turn the corner!Finally we can head into Edinburgh where my last drop is in Forth Ports,we duly make our way to site but i choose not to follow instruction and head straight to the office's which again turns out be a stroke of luck as there just finishing up and the instructions given were outdated,after some banter about the size of my load i can throw the pathetic amount off and call it a day!
All in all a fairly uneventful day,even if my intelligence is brought into question :)
