Two suspects accused of being tied to the carjacking and shooting of a person in Suwanee were recently arrested by Gwinnett police who had to perform a PIT maneuver in the Peachtree Corners area to stop the pair.

Police announced the arrest on Friday, but the events surrounding the apprehension occurred Feb. 26. Bloomingdale resident James Steven Casey, 19, and Decatur resident Deaundrey Marques Everett, 22, were allegedly driving the vehicle, which was stolen the day before, when police spotted them and began pursuing the pair on several streets, including Buford Highway, South Old Peachtree Road, North Berkeley Lake Road, South Berkeley Lake Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, according to a police report.
