The Society of Wine Educators in the United States administers the CSW course along with a vast array of other wine, spirits, and hospitality certifications. The difficulty level of the Certified Specialist of Wine equals the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Advanced course but dives much deeper into Asian wine (China, Japan) and South American wine (Uruguay, Brazil) than the WSET. The 100-question multiple choice final examination can be taken online or in person.
