Bacteria are rapidly developing resistance to antibiotics, resulting in increasing deaths due to Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and increased healthcare burden. Srijan Jindal, multi-award winner with a PhD in microbiology, talks about how AMR could be the next and more deadly pandemic. He highlights the actions that individuals must take to stop the development of AMR, save antibiotics and also the lives of millions of people.
Srijan is the Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer of
a diagnostic company that is building a rapid point-of-
care diagnostic kit for Urinary Tract Infections which
will reduce the rise of antimicrobial resistance. With a
PhD in microbiology he wants to share his passion for
science. His talk will be exploring how antimicrobial
resistance could lead to the next pandemic This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
