Today, the third phase of the coronavirus vaccination drive has begun partially in the nation as the county is facing a supply deficit of vaccine jabs. Amidst all the crisis going on in the nation, the Russian vaccine, Sputnik V's first batch of 1.5 lakh jabs has been delivered in India by Russia. A few days back the arrival of Sputnik V to India was confirmed and was about to arrive before the starting of the third phase of the coronavirus vaccination drive i.e. May 1. Currently, we have received only 1.5 lakh vaccine doses but soon Russia will supply around 30 million doses to India. The upcoming batch of the jabs from Russia will be used for the third phase of vaccination.
