WET WEDDING The bride and groom and their 20-strong party was caught out after placing too much trust in an old wooden pier over a freezing lake in the US at the weekend during a photo shoot ahead of their ceremony.
A videographer for their big day in Crosslake, Minnesota, captured the hilarious moment the pier collapsed under the huge wedding party, sending them screaming into the water below.
At first a subtle crack can be heard that sends shockwaves through the group.
While the 11 groomsmen grab each other and glance towards their fate, three of the eight bridesmaids closest to land think quickly enough to dash for safety, leaving the bride to soak while they stay dry.
The video, shot by videographer Megan Fritze, has become an instant hit online and miraculously the party managed to dry off for the ceremony only 10 minutes later.

"Coolest couple I have ever met," Ms Fritze wrote on Facebook.
"Jackie looked up, all smiles, from the water and asked if I got it on video.
"Great day to be around really amazing people."
