Civilization 7 releases in 2025, yet we already know of at least 20 playable civilizations across civ 7's three ages - Antiquity, Discovery, and Modern. In this video I'll show you everything we know about the first 20 playable civs, from Egypt to France, Songhai to Mongolia, here are the first 20 civs revealed in civilization 7.

At the time of recording, Firaxis have officially announced and released info on nine of the twenty civs covered in this video. There's certainly even more room to speculate and infer more civs too - like Benjamin Franklin (known leader), and the USA. I've taken official info where available, and used the devs Civ 7 gameplay releases, trailers, and livestreams to piece together the rest.
