FIX:
in rekordbox settings under controller-mixer. Make sure linear curve is selected and that the cross fader curve is only half blue


I have had my DDJ-1000 for about 2 months now, the crossfader hasn't worked properly since i got it (brand new) but i assumed it was something to do with settings. I have never really needed to use it but i want to learn to scratch now but i can't. The problem im having is that it doesnt fade, both tracks play at the same volume no matter where the slider is, unless it is all the way to one side and then only that side will play.
