볼리비아, 5000명의 음악가 공연으로 21번째 전통 카니발 축하
And finally Bolivia held its 21st Festival of the Bands featuring a performance by some 5-thousand musicians.
Taking place in the mining town of Oruro, on Saturday local time the festival's highlight was a two-hour long show under the guidance of four alternating conductors.
The festival was attended by Bolivian president Luis Arc, alongside tourists and local residents.
The Festival of the Bands forms part of the larger and older Oruro Carnival or Anata an Andean and Christian fusion festival.
It's origins can be traced back to the ancient Ito festival celebrated by the indigenous Uru people to honor the local Waka gods.
