I've used iPhone group text messages previously myself and find it really handy. Having an iPhone group is great for coordinating your plans - maybe a night out there could be many reasons. I love group messages on iPhone as it allows for more efficient communication between multiple contacts. Plus it's great for things like sharing media, even team collaborations for work.

🔴 What to consider when looking at how to create group text on iPhone 🔴
There are some important points to consider when setting up group messages on an iPhone.
If everyone in the group is an Apple user - i.e. iPad or an iPhone and using Apple iMessages, where blue bubbles appear on the screen, then the group is limited to 32 people. But if you have a mixed group of Apple and non-Apple users, such as, Android users as well as iPhone and iPad users in the group, where some contacts are using SMS (green bubbles) then that limit comes down to 20 people

✅ How to group text on iPhone / how to create and name a group text on your iPhone ✅⬇️⬇️
We're assuming, for the purposes of this video today, that all users in the group are using an Apple device - so an iPhone or an iPad. Plus they're running the latest version of iOS and they are logged in and using iMessage, blue bubbles, to communicate within the group (iMessage group).
▶️ Firstly, set up a group for group texting on your Apple device - iPad or your iPhone by going to your home screen and select messages.
▶️ Your messages open. 'Click' on the pencil as if you're going to write a new message.
▶️ A new iMessage window opens. To add people, either - add the first letter of the person's name or you can add their name by 'tapping' the plus icon and selecting the relevant contacts.
✴️ NOTE: If you're looking to add additional users to the group after it has been created, you can only add someone to a group message that already includes three or more people. Additionally, you can't add someone to a messages conversation that you're already having with just one person ✴️
▶️ Once an iPhone text group has been created (by adding the required contacts as shown), simply create a message and send it to the group. You can also tag people into the group by adding @followed by their name.
▶️ To look at / change the settings of the group, 'tap' the group name on the top of the message screen. You can look at people's individual details by 'clicking' on the arrows show next to the relevant persons name. You can add / change the name and the photo of the group. You can also add an image (how to add image to group text on iPhone) - either with your camera at that time, an image on your phone or an emoji. You can even add letters as the image of the group if you choose.
▶️ When you're happy with everything - simply 'tap' done and done again to go back to the messaging screen. You should have now been successfully able to create and name a group text on your iPhone!
