This is not a guide to installation. Just me talking about the installation and the tools I needed. (Please like or dislike based on what it is, not what it isn't!) For a comprehensive guide on how to replace the shock on a Yamaha R1 (almost identical process) visit Sportbike Track Gear: [ Ссылка ]
A couple of things I forgot the mention:
In your socket set you'll need a universal joint - or be prepared to do more disassembly!
The remote preload adjuster comes with a little metal bracket which attaches to the pillion footpeg bracket. At least I think that's the intention... I can't be sure because...
The shock comes with no fitting instructions, which feels like an oversight, even if it is a 'direct replacement'.
