Almost 20 years after its original release date, The Gummy Bear song is still alive and well. Amassing over 3 billion views, it has solidified itself in the Youtube hall of fame. Fast forward to the present day, and videos like it posted to Youtube Kids have completely taken over the platform. In this video essay, I decide to blame the entirety of this issue on a silly green bear. Yippee!
