Jordanian King Abdullah II directed the Jordanian forces to conduct "four airdrops delivering aid to the people of Gaza," as stated in an official announcement.
This operation occurred on the same day when two human rights groups accused Israel of further restricting humanitarian aid access to Gaza, despite a UN court order. Jordan has executed a total of 16 air-drop operations since the conflict began on October 7 between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
The recent drop aimed to provide direct relief to the population along the Gaza Strip's coast, involving essential supplies such as ready-made nutritious meals.
The operation utilized four C-130 aircraft, including one from the French armed forces, deploying cargo via parachutes over the southern Gaza Strip, where a significant population resides.
