Today is Day 24 of the government shutdown. Nearly 800,000 federal employees are working without pay. So we are putting a federal employee to work every night until the shutdown ends. Tonight, Jimmy hires USDA Safety Inspector Sandy Cross to be our meteorologist. This is now the longest government shutdown of all-time, and Trump says it will not end until he gets his wall. He is desperately trying to pin this shutdown on Democrats, even though we remember a time all the way back in December of the year 2018 when a man who looked exactly like him proudly told a roomful of reporters 'I will take all the blame for a government shutdown.'
