But we're not complaining because the famed Weller line at Buffalo Trace, most well-known for Weller 12 and as being the same mash bill as Pappy Van Winkle, now has a new expression called Weller C.Y.P.B. The distillery tells us that the majority of people crafted their perfect bourbon as a wheated mash bill with an age statement that averaged out to be 8 years, at 95 proof with the barrel being stored at the top of the warehouse. Is this bottle all hype, or is it a welcome addition to the line?
