Ingredients:
For the Dal Pithori:
1 cup arhar dal (split pigeon peas)
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Water for kneading the dough
Oil for frying
For the Dal Curry:
1 cup arhar dal (split pigeon peas)
2 green chilies, slit
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 tablespoons oil
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing ( if you wish
Instructions:
To make the Dal Pithori:
Wash the arhar dal thoroughly and put it in cooker add haldi powder,salt and paste of garlic and chilli
Gradually add water and knead the atta into a soft dough.
Divide the dough into small lemon-sized balls
and give the shape it like me and put it in daal and cook it
To make the Dal pithori Curry:
arhar dal and pithori ko cook kare pressure cook it with enough water until it becomes soft
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
Add the cooked dal to the pan and mix well. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the flavors blend together.
and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
To serve:
Place the fried dal pithoris in a serving bowl.
