In the Stock Market, an ATM offering is an "At-The-Market" offering. When a public company announces this, it means that they will be introducing additional securities into the market at the same price the securities are currently at. In theory, this allows the company to raise extra capital, without diluting the stock. However this isn't always the case - increasing the number of shares a stock has doesn't come without consequence.
