Cioppino (Fisherman’s Stew) with wild shrimp, clams, squid, mussels and linguine.
We believe the key to a delicious cioppino is all in the flavour of the broth and the quality of the seafood. So we save up all our shrimp and lobster shells and use them to create a deep rich broth.
The process includes bringing our shells and aromatics to a full boil using the dual-flow burner system on our @Hestan Range which offers a robust range of heat control, from a searing 23,000 BTU flame to a continuous gentle simmer of 500 BTUs, where we settle and let all the flavours meld.
And if you notice in the video how low the flame is at 500 BTUs, it would be easy to walk away and leave the burner on. But that is one of the benefits of the elegantly designed backlit control knobs. They add functionality and brilliant illumination.
