This hack enables you to lessen the clutch squeak and in my case shift properly as i could not change gears and reverse easily.
Simply use a piece of wood and fit it between the side wall and clutch pedal assembly. Now the assembly moves less and so the sound too. The sound on the other side of the firewall is a diff story, keep in mind that he clutch fork also could make the sound.
