Israel says Arrow 3 missile killer sale to Germany approved by U.S.
The US government has approved Germany's $3.5 billion purchase of the Israeli-made Arrow 3 missile defense system. The move paved the way for the German and Israeli defense ministries, along with manufacturer Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), to close what it called Israel's largest defense deal. In addition to the first export sale of the Arrow 3, the deal will bring a unique anti-ballistic missile capability to Western Europe, as the region's militaries increasingly seek to increase their resilience to potential ballistic missile attacks from Russia.
