Full one credit clear gameplay, longplay, playthrough, walkthrough, guide and trueplay of the arcade archives version of the NEO GEO MVS release of Puzzle Bobble from Taito. All done in one sitting, no cheats, save states, bots and tools or clever editing. This is the real deal, went for a clearance over a high score run due to the amount of risk involved when stacking bubbles.
This 1994 puzzle spin-off from the 1986 game arcade Bubble Bobble and its many sequels, would spawn a huge franchise of its own as well. Which now out numbers the mainline franchise, which sits at six games with Rainbow Islands and Parasol Stars, being joined by the numbered Bubble Bobble follow ups.
The Puzzle Bobble series reaches over 25+ titles even more so if you include all the different mobile games released in the series. It's easy to see why as the game is hugely addictive and so simple and easy to play making it the perfect game for gamers of all ages.
It's a brilliant game with a great single player mode and hugely popular versus mode. The second game further expanded the content and it arguably better than the first. While some of the later games are a bit up and down, overall. The first outing is an arcade gems and the series overall remains a high quality, this original game is a must pick up for all gamers and remains one of the best puzzle arcade games ever made.
Foe a long time i the west the series went under the awful name of Bust A Move, despite the original name Puzzle Bobble being used in western the arcade for the first game. Bust A Move is an odd name to say the least because it is a term used for dance moves. Fortunately someone at Taito realised the error in the name and binned it during the late 2000s. There are two releases of the original game in arcade the Japan Taito B-System was released first, followed by the world wide NEOGEO version a few months later. There are a few very minor changes due to the different hardware.
