It's springtime and for a change the sun isn't shining.
I'm on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand at a small bay on the way to Kaikoura. I've stopped here once before but today I thought that it was time to attempt an activation.
Let's just say that there are a couple of challenges this time! Firstly the ground is incredibly hard and stony, its windy and its started to rain.
Not only that but the park is located right beside the railway track and state highway one. Well who doesn't enjoy a challenge?
Plus as a bonus we see a giant lobster and learn about State Highway 1.
