The Clay Castle of the Valley of Fairies was built using only natural materials (clay, straw and sand) in a spectacular location at the foot of the Făgăraș mountains, in Sibiu County.
The walls of the Castle are built from a mixture of clay, straw, water and sand and the towers are made of stone.
