After some wet and cool weather in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria we get out the house to look at what is happening in the resort. There are workmen all over now as we have six months to get projects finished before it is full official summer season and noisy work has to stop.
We walk Flower Street, the focal point of Sunny Beach, and then look at the amazing long beach, not many people about as we hit the winter period.
We finish with a warming drink, where ex pats and local congregate through the winter at Condor Bistro 94.
We live here all year round and love the quieter times with empty beaches as well as the very hectic summer months. It is great to have a rest from the heat and have a rest working on our home a short distance away.
Spring will soon arrive in 2025 then we will be having nights at our apartment again in Sunny Beach though at the moment on dark nights its preferable to be in our cozy home.
Bulgaria is becoming ever more popular as a retirement destination and we have been here from now for three years, enjoying our retirement on the Black Sea.
