This is the S-train service that is used by metropolitan commuters to get around Copenhagen. This network complements the Metro system. Just like the Metro, the train stops are spaced quite close apart. These trains are driver driven. They are usually 8-car articulated units (DSB class SA-SB-SC-SD-SD-SC-SB-SA, also known as Litra SA). The rolling stock are electric multiple units that are electrified by 1,650 V DC overhead lines. These trains have regenerative braking to increase the efficiency. The services also feature Fri Internet which means Free WiFi Internet access for passengers.
