Former President of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union Kanhaiya Kumar will fight 2019 Lok Sabha elections on Communist Party of India (CPI) ticket. Claiming that Kanhaiya has agreed to it, CPI said he is likely to contest from Begusarai constituency in Bihar.
Kanhaiya has the offer to contest the next general elections from Kerala but the Bihar party unit has demanded that he should contest from here, CPI national council secretary KR Naraina told mediapersons after two-day party meeting in Patna, NDTV reported.
