If you've been doing music licensing for awhile, you may be familiar with briefs. In a music licensing brief, a client will explain the type of song they want. So should you pursue briefs? I think that they are a distraction, unless the brief is for a type of song that's in your wheelhouse. Otherwise, you're better off just focusing on what you do well and enjoy.
