Wrapping up an incredible 12 days in Sri Lanka in the historic town of Galle, Sri Lanka, I couldn't feel prouder (is that a word - prouder? More proud?? lol). Huge shout out to my incredible husband for supporting me and encouraging me to tick this goal off my bucket list. Ya'll, I was nervous AF, but in just a day or two, I felt empowered. This solo trip reinforced for me the notion that I can literally do anything I set my mind to, while discovering myself in the process. I’m thankful that I chose Sri Lanka as the country to 'pop that cherry' LOL! The country is beautiful, its people of kind, and I will never forget all of the amazing experiences I had along the way. I DID IT!!
