This case is about a man named Supap Kirtsaeng who bought textbooks in Thailand for a lower price and then resold them in the US. The original publishers of the textbooks, John Wiley & Sons, sued Kirtsaeng for copyright infringement. Kirtsaeng won the case and asked for attorney's fees, but was denied by the District Court. Kirtsaeng appealed and the Supreme Court is now being asked to reconsider the decision on attorney's fees.
