Two beautiful North American P-51D Mustangs open 2023 AirPower Over Hampton Roads with formation aerobatics. Shot on Saturday, May 6.
The two P-51 Mustangs involved are "Mad Max" (red striped tail) and "The Little Witch" (yellow and black checkers). "Mad Max" is owned and flown by Louis Horschel. Louis is also a US Navy Legacy Flight pilot and flies an F4U Corsair for the program. "Little Witch" is owned and flown by Ariel Luedi from Switzerland. Both aircraft are kept at the Stallion 51 Corporation in Kissimmee, Florida.
