NSW Treasurer Matt Kean says “we are all responsible” for slow response to the flood recovery and clean-up.
Mr Kean noted the “unprecedented” difficulty of getting helicopters in the air and emergency personnel into affected areas.
“The focus is helping people get back on their feet,” he told Sky News Australia.
He also announced applications for financial support is open through Service NSW.
“Grants are available for small-businesses, non-for-profits, and agricultural primary producers”.
