Learn how to disable iMessages on Mac. Sometimes when you have your Mac and iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID, your iMessages and text messages pop up on your Mac or Macbook.

These iMessage notifications can be annoying and distracting when you're trying to work. Fortunately, they can be disabled.

How To Disable iMessages On Mac
Launch the Messages App on your Mac / Macbook
Click on Messages in the top left corner
Then Select iMessages tab
Disconnect your Apple ID by signing out
With your Apple ID diconnected from the Messages app, you'll no longer be getting iMessages on your Mac.
