Here is a stunning 3D image created by Richard Stroud and which shows off part of a prehistoric light timber structure made from Y-shaped poles in the shape of an A-frame, and which we recently uncovered during excavations at Killerby Quarry.
The discovery was unearthed within a layer of peat and likely dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age.
