Second weekend of the new year and I made the journey to Stevenage, for the annual exhibition of the Chiltern Model Railway Association.
The exhibition was held in the Stevenage sports & arts centre, occupying 2 halls. There was a good mix of layouts - lots of different scales and sizes - and traders. The halls were well laid out with plenty of space to circulate - which was just as well, as the show was absolutely heaving - great news for the organisers, but not always the best for the visitor!
I hope you enjoy the film and follow up by watching part 3. Layouts appear as Ive walked around, so each film features different subject matter. I will apologise to those whos layouts do not feature - I was on a tight time schedule and time ran out! Some were very popular whenever I went near them, so I have missed them out. A favourite layout of mine - San Maria Gandia - is one that I missed. If you want to see it in action, check out my film from Alton MREX 2017.
Lastly, my congratulations and thanks to the organisers, for providing a very good, comprehensive, exhibition guide, as part of the admission price.
Please feel free to like, comment and share the film. If you arent already, please subscribe to the channel - it does help me out!
regards
Iain
